Questions and answers
Can a shift run past midnight?
Yes. A shift from 17:00 to 01:00 is one shift. Hours, breaks and night supplements are calculated correctly, and the shift shows on the day it starts.
Can I have different supplements for kitchen and front of house?
Yes. Each supplement can apply to everyone or only to selected departments, with its own times and rates.
How do I see the wage percentage?
With Pro you enter or import revenue per day. ShiftFriend shows the wage percentage per day, week and month against the target you set.
Can we clock in in the kitchen?
Yes. The time clock runs in a browser on an ordinary tablet. Employees can also clock in from their phone with a GPS check.
