For shops
Scheduling for shops – the right staffing when customers arrive
Set staffing needs around opening hours, plan several shops in one account, and keep the wage percentage down with sales right next to the plan.
Sound familiar?
- Too many on the floor – or too few On Tuesday morning three people stand around waiting; on Saturday afternoon there is a queue at the till.
- More shops, more spreadsheets Each shop has its own plan, and nobody can see who could help where.
- Timesheets that must be typed in Hours have to be checked against the plan and typed into the payroll system every month.
How ShiftFriend helps
- Opening hours and staffing needs Set how many people you need in sales, checkout and the stockroom in each time slot. AI scheduling makes a draft, and you see staffing before and after.
- Several shops in one account Assign staff to shops, let employees work in several shops, and see coverage for each shop separately.
- Sales and labour cost % Enter or import revenue and see labour cost % per day, week and month against your target.
- Hour approval Approve hours against clock-ins and the schedule. Deviations are flagged, so you know what to look at.
- Payroll export to your payroll system Choose your payroll system and download approved hours, supplements and absence as a file for Danløn, Dataløn, Proløn, Salary, Zenegy, Lessor or Visma – or run payroll with Payroll reconciliation.
Questions and answers
Can an employee work in several shops?
Yes. An employee can belong to several shops, and you see all their shifts together – so nobody gets double-booked.
How do staffing needs work?
You set how many people each department needs in a time slot, e.g. two in sales on Saturday 10–16. The plan shows gaps straight away.
Which payroll systems can I export to?
With Pro you choose your payroll system and download approved hours, supplements, overtime and absence as a file for Danløn, Dataløn, Proløn, Salary, Zenegy, Lessor or Visma Lønservice – or as CSV and Excel. Direct integrations are coming soon.
What does it cost with several shops?
Starter has one location. Pro has unlimited shops and departments – the price follows the number of employees, not shops.
